Park City Musashi-Kosugi The Grand Wing Tower

Musashi-Kosugi, Kawasaki

Aiming to recreate “the forest of Musashino”, he made a landscape of real volume, with water features that recall the flow of the Tama River and greenery born of the idea of standing a garden upright. The vertical gardens along the curving outer walls are planted with as many species as possible, so that flowers and fruit, scents and colours change throughout the year. The more the greenery grows, the closer it comes to a forest; the aim is a landscape that birds and butterflies will visit.
